Project Details:

This project is the erection of a new four span curved steel girder structure that will connect SR 28 South to SR 279 South. The new structure will be built over top of I 279 and underneath SR 579. Tight vertical and horizontal clearance will make the steel erection complicated. Due to the location of this project in proximity to the city of Pittsburgh, the erection had to be completed during a weekend closure of I 279 Northbound and Southbound.
