Graff Bridge Preservation
Advantage Steel & Construction is serving as the steel subcontractor to perform steel repairs on the Graff Bridge. Originally constructed in 1974, the structure is a truss bridge that crosses the Allegheny River in Armstrong County, PA. The scope of work includes installing a new walkway at the piers, installing 19 new diaphragms, removing and replacing girders, and replacing 129 bearings. Advantage is also fabricating the steel for the components that will be installed.
