I-80 Preservation MM 96 to MM 119

Advantage Steel & Construction was subcontracted by HRI, Inc. to provide steel construction and fabrication services for five bridges as part of the I-80 Preservation Project in Clearfield County, PA. The scope of work included replacing bearings, providing jacking and temporary support, and fabricating and installing 41,500 pounds of structural steel. Fabrication components included jacking stiffeners to help remove and replace bearings and web repair plates to patch deteriorating girder members. This project will extend the service life of the bridges along this 23-mile corridor.
